Paradice Ice Skating Avondale is the Coolest Hotspot in Town. Located in West Auckland, our Olympic-sized arena is your ultimate icy destination where you can skate along to the latest music and lighting effects.

Warm up in the licensed De Frost cafe with a hot chocolate or something stronger! A range of hot and cabinet food is available with combos and platters perfect for a group or party.

The session includes ice skate and helmet hire. Make a day of it with Paradice Ice Skating perfect for the whole family!

  • Helmets or Paradice approved safety headbands are mandatory for skaters in our Public Sessions. Skaters may bring their own helmet or our freely available helmets at Paradice. We will also have Safety Headbands available for hire. We encourage wearing of gloves and appropriate clothing.

  • This experience welcomes families with children.

Legal Drinking Age Enforced

  • To consume Alcohol you must be over the legal drinking age. You may be asked to produce Government Issued ID to prove your age.

School holiday fun

A great experience, friendly and helpful staff, fairly priced meals at the Cafe which was surprising. The only negative comment was the skates were getting a bit old and could do with replacing as we had to swap them a few times to get ones that the buckles worked on. Overall it was a great experience and we plan on going back.

Good fun, low quality.

Had to try on 3 pairs of skates before I found ones in which the buckles weren't faulty or dangerously fidgety. Whilst skating, the ankle buckle on my right skate came completely loose, causing me to lose control and fall. Luckily I was fine, but this is a safety concern. Also genuine WARNING: strong strobe lights that are disorienting and a very high risk for anyone with epilepsy or prone to seizures. This is another safety concern. Please stop the strobes! They disorient everyone on the ice. I love ice skating, and appreciate having a rink in my neck of the woods. But Paradice has gone downhill with their quality and care, and I'd love to see this addressed,

Good deal, staff inside could use some training

This was a good deal, very friendly staff at the front counter, but the lady inside who hands out the skates seemed pissed off and very rude. Why be in customer service when you are not a people person, get another job if you hate this one.
