You'll be strapped to a tandem skydive expert after being given full safety instructions and a briefing, allowing for full peace of mind on your epic adventure.
Jump onboard the skydive plane and soak up amazing views of the scenery below before arriving at 16,500ft overlooking some of the best views of Mount Cook and its surrounds.
Start the countdown, take a deep breath and then jump! Your adrenaline will skyrocket as you free-fall for 60 seconds before the parachute opens, giving you time to catch your breath and lap up the amazing views for 5 minutes while gently drifting to the ground below.

Skydiving from 16000 ft at Mount Cook
Skydiving from 16000 ft with Mr. Mathew of Mount Cook was an amazing experience. They are following all safety features. Mr. Mathew guided me well during complete journey.

Incredible experience

Absolutely Amazing Instructor!I’m
Javier (Chilean guy) was an absolutely incredible instructor! He made me feel safe, confident, and excited from start to finish. His professionalism, positive attitude and clear guidance made the whole experience unforgettable. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Thank you, Javier, for making my first skydive so amazing! Highly recommended.

think it's worth trying
Skydiving is one of New Zealand’s most iconic experiences, and I’m so glad I chose to do it in Mt Cook. Not only was there a great discount, but the scenery and jump height made it even more worthwhile. I jumped from 16,500 ft, with breathtaking views of Aoraki / Mt Cook, Lake Pukaki, the surrounding snow-capped mountains, and the stunning turquoise lake. Looking down, I could even see Twizel, which looked so tiny and adorable from above. My tandem instructor was incredibly professional. Before and during the flight, he explained everything clearly, helped calm my nerves, and made me feel safe throughout the whole experience. He even let me try steering the parachute myself, but it was much heavier than I expected, and I wasn't strong enough! I'm so grateful that I finally had the courage to do it. It was an unforgettable experience and definitely one of the highlights of my working holiday in New Zealand. If you ever have the chance, it's absolutely worth trying at least once!
